Sean Biopcik takes the blame in new single “Nobody But Me”

Date:

New York-native Sean Biopcik has released “Nobody But Me,” a deeply personal ballad in the vein of James Arthur and Lewis Capaldi. The new single perfectly encapsulates the heartbreaking feeling of blame for the fallout of a relationship.

“Nobody But Me” opens with an acoustic guitar and muted piano instrumentation, instantly introducing an intimate atmosphere to the track. By the second half of the song, as the drums kick in, the song turns into a classic, marked by its beautiful, soaring chorus where Biopcik’s raw vocals are packed with emotion.

With vulnerable lyrics, Biopcik admits that he is indeed at fault for why the relationship ended, singing, “I pushed you to your limits / You gave me one more chance / I know you’re losing feelings / Should’ve fought you in advance / I’m begging for forgiveness / On my knees and on my hands.” The singer-songwriter opened up about the importance of the songwriting process and the meaning that it holds for him:

“This song came from the hardest part of me, the feeling of being unfairly blamed. Music gave me a way to turn that pain into resilience, and I hope listeners can find their own strength in it too.”

Biopcik’s honesty in his music has certainly resonated with his growing audience online. The independent artist has over 500,000 followers on TikTok and over a million streams on Spotify alone.
