Recent News: Currently on the first leg of their 2026 world tour following the release of their debut album Don’t Speak in April.

Fresh off the release of their debut full-length album Don’t Speak, released April 10 through AWAL, Austin-based outfit Culture Wars have cemented their status as rock music’s latest exciting batch of rising stars. With a sound that demands to be played in stadiums across the world, the band maintains a profound artistry fueled by guitar-driven compositions, soaring vocals, and vulnerable songwriting.

Although the band just released their first studio album, Culture Wars’ imminent success is a carefully calculated journey nearly ten years in the making. The band initially formed in 2015, and in the years since, they have completely dedicated themselves to honing their craft. However, it wasn’t until last year that Culture Wars truly began to gain some traction. The band had their first Top 20 Alternative Radio hit with the single “It Hurts,” now featured on Don’t Speak, and last year also found Culture Wars touring across the globe with the likes of LANY, Maroon 5, Wallows, and many more, sharing their signature magnetic sonic palette with listeners around the world.

Originally taking shape when drummer David Grayson met vocalist Alex Dugan in a previous band, the two immediately knew upon meeting that a musical spark had been lit. Bringing their respective musical influences together, the project eventually became what is now known as Culture Wars, and the group released their debut EP teche in 2021. During the making of the record, Grayson and Dugan were soon joined by guitarists Caleb Contreras and Josh Stirm, as well as bassist Dillon Randolph.

Together, the five members not only maintain a close-knit working relationship when it comes to making music — they also hold the same goal of making it big. Combining the hard-hitting musicality of The Strokes with the anthemic quality only found in acts like U2 and Oasis, Culture Wars possess the drive and musical maturity of a well-seasoned rock group. And as they climb within the ranks of the modern indie rock world, the band doesn’t deny that plans for world domination aren’t off the table.

Following the release of Don’t Speak, the band embarked on their extensive world tour. Currently on the first leg of the tour, making their way across North America this month, Culture Wars will play a run of shows across Europe and the U.K. this summer before returning to the U.S. this fall.
