In the year 2026, the concept of love is still not getting through. Love does not have boundaries, so everyone deserves to give it and receive it, period. If anyone disagrees, TV Pins has something to say—or rather, sing.
To celebrate Pride Month, the alt-rock five piece gives us “Version of Love.” This vibrant track focuses on inclusivity, identity, and love, with timeless messages. The song is led by LGBTQ+ vocalist Grace Hinks, marking the first time that she has released a pride song with the band. She sings, “I am the way I am / It’s just how I was made.” Vocalist James Schofield joins in, and together, they proudly sing, “Your version of love, it does not allow / For all the colors of the rainbow.” With “Version of Love,” the band fights for everyone’s right to love. You can check it out in the live performance video below.
About “Version of Love,” Grace shares,
“To me, it’s about accepting and standing up to those who don’t embrace all forms of love—romantic, aromantic, and especially queer joy. It’s about celebrating that openly.”
“Version of Love” is the first new material from TV Pins after the release of their debut album, Aircutter, in 2024. The album beautifully captured their prog-rock, new wave, and Americana style and highlighted a British alt-rock style of songwriting, ‘70s-inspired harmonies, and a ‘90s-style energy. Over the years, TV Pins have built a solid fanbase in the UK live music scene, with multiple headline tours and performances at festivals like Lakefest, Camp Bestival, Also Festival, and Loopfest.
