Since their 2017 formation, Austin-based dreamcore outfit Colorblind have only continued to rise within the modern rock world, and 2026 will prove to be their most exciting year yet. The band is currently on The Hounds Of The Underground Tour alongside If Not For Me and Windwaker, which serves as their very first co-headlining run across the U.S. Offering something extra special for fans, the tour will include each band playing a full headline set each night, rotating the order of performances for each show.

Kicking off on May 9 at Welcome To Rockville, the tour is currently making its way across the U.S. and Canada, slated to hit select cities like Dallas, Atlanta, Baltimore, and Brooklyn before wrapping up on June 8 in Boston.

However, the career milestones for Colorblind don’t stop with their inaugural U.S. headlining run, as the group prepares to release their debut full-length album, Who Sold You This Truth ++ Was It Yours To Hold, on August 28 through Solid State Records and Tooth And Nail Records. Following last year’s Who Sold You This Truth EP, the band’s introductory LP will continue to expand upon their signature ethereal metal artistry that they’ve become known for. Previewed by singles like “Pressure,” “Needle Eye,” and “Letdown,” Colorblind’s new material is a flawless expression of their unique sound, blending hip-hop, rock, and pop influences to craft a musical palette that is entirely their own.

While 2026 is proving to be the band’s breakthrough year, Colorblind have been carving their own space in the rock scene for several years now. Initially formed in 2017 under the name The Night Of, the group went through a lineup change in 2018, reintroducing themselves under the new name Colorblind. Founded by brothers Travis and Tyler Moseley as well as Justin Page and Nicholas Asper, the band released a handful of singles before dropping their self-titled EP in 2022. Notably featuring Sleeping With Sirens’ Kellin Quinn on the track “Everything But Faith,” the album proved Colorblind to be a monumental rising metalcore outfit.

Over the last few years, Colorblind have established themselves as post-hardcore trailblazers, steadily releasing one hard-hitting single after the next while earning touring slots with the likes of Honey Revenge, Catch Your Breath, Miss May I, and more. Last year, the previously independent outfit signed on with Solid State/Tooth And Nail Records, laying the groundwork for what will soon be their first full-length studio album. Undoubtedly, Who Sold You This Truth ++ Was It Yours To Hold is a highly anticipated release for their rapidly growing fanbase.
