Singer-songwriter and producer Obi BenĀ is back with his latest single “finish line.”
“finish line” is a melancholy genre-bending track about wanting to be with someone who has moved on to another after sharing close moments and memories.
In the song, it appears that Obi has to confront the idea that the love that he and this person shared was just another goalpost before he reached the finish line of life. Towards the end of “finish line,” Obi sings the lyrics over and over; “our love was meant to die.”
