The Stockholm-based alternative pop singer Amanda Cy releases her first single of 2025, “Miss U.” The song explores the idea of having your cake and eating it too. Cy spent a great deal of time in London, where she worked with Daniela Rathana, Caity Baser, and Gaitlin & Cloudy June.
In this single, she strove to express the chaos of that feeling through fast-paced, urgent instrumentals that will easily get stuck in the listener’s head. The accompanying music video depicts Cy and her lover dancing outside at night against a backdrop of fireworks and smoke, further driving the sentiment home.
The singer had a big year in 2024 and the momentum keeps flowing. She supported GRIFF on tour and released her second EP, Waterworks. She also sold out her very own headline show in her hometown of Stockholm. Now, she’s gearing up to release her next EP, LOVEGRUNGE, out later this year.
