French Horn Rebellion Captures the Deep Bond of Brotherhood on Powerful New EP

Date:

French Horn Rebellion is an experimental and transformative sonic experience captained by brothers Robert and David Perlick-Molinari. Fittingly, their newly released EP is titled Brothers. While the project is deeply rooted in their sacred bond as siblings, it also branches out from just the two of them to tackle broader themes of toxic masculinity. Brothers is a window into their collective souls laced with bold sonics, heartfelt lyrics that reminisce on core memories, and songs that tell a story of true companionship.

The EP comes alive with sparkling synths, stark pulses of percussion, and powerfully nostalgic vocals that reminisce on childhood memories gone by. Second track “Brothers” is a dynamic anthem on getting older, changing as people, and always being there for your sibling in spite of it all. Followed by “Broken Hearted Fool”, French Horn Rebellion captivates with 80s reminiscent electro-funk sonics. Closing out the collection with “The Hopes of a High School Football Star”, the duo continues their exploration of old memories that have undeniably shaped the artists they are today.

Revealing more on their project, Robert of the duo admits, “Being brothers, we sometimes hide from our feelings behind being ’tough.’  That said, the bond of brothers is deep. When we get to the other side, I imagine our brothers will be the first to greet us in the afterlife with open arms.”
