After a cancelled festival in 2025, Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival came back with a bang. The arch opened on June 11th at 1pm with incredible performances on the main What Stage from Spiritual Cramp and Vince Staples to kick off the weekend. Skrillex closed out the opening day, returning to the farm for the first time in 12 years with a packed crowd that were all thrilled to be back on the farm.
Friday brought some early heavy rainstorms but cleared up for the rest of the day, providing a much needed cool down to the farm and bringing in a very muddy afternoon. Rachel Chinouriri and Mother Mother each played packed sets on the This Stage, with groups of longtime fans singing along to their favorite songs. Yungblud took the main stage for his Bonnaroo debut later that night, with The Strokes following after for a return set for the first time since 2011.
Saturday brought the highly anticipated SuperJam hosted by Kesha, titled “KESHA PRESENTS: SUPERJÂM ESOTERÍCA: THE ALCHEMY OF POP.” The performance included multiple outfit changes and covers of classic pop songs and Kesha classics, with different twists that matched the genres of each guest performer. Highlights included Rainbow Kitten Surprises’ cover of “Mr. Brightside,” GROUPLOVE performing their hit “Tongue Tied,” and a surprise appearance of Weird Al who covered “Chandelier.” The SuperJam closed with all of the performers coming together to perform “Purple Rain” — just in time for a rainstorm to move in.
Rufus Du Sol returned to the farm for the first time since 2018, this time as the Saturday finale with a packed audience for an incredible set. That night also brought Chase & Status, Gorgon City, and Effin to the Other and Where Stages respectively for packed sunrise sets that began at 12:40am and ended at 6:30am, making for another full night of nonstop music.
Rain delays on Sunday afternoon caused Centeroo to be evacuated and cancellation of the majority of performances — including Aly & AJ for the second year in a row. Music began again at 5:30pm with Japanese Breakfast, three hours after the rain began. Noah Kahan closed out the festival Sunday night with an intensely emotional performance, but it was unfortunately cut short due to the weather delay earlier in the day. Still, the New Englander put on an incredible finale to the festival, playing hits like “Dashboard,” “Northern Attitude,” and “Stick Season” with a beautiful stage set behind him and fireworks to close out Bonnaroo 2026.
