Paris Paloma has released a new single off of her upcoming sophomore album, The Fatal Flaw. Aptly titled “Pre-Raphaelite,” the track is a love letter to the female gaze that details an admiration for women’s beauty without sexualization of their being. The song showcases Paris’ gift for weaving myth, longing and modern womanhood into songs that feel both timeless and urgently of this moment.
Along with the song, Paris shared a captivating music video (directed by Rianne White) inspired by The Three Muses of Greek mythology–Melete (practice or study), Mneme (memory), and Aoede (song)–reimagined to portray the women Paris has observed throughout her life with a mixture of wonder, jealousy, and admiration.
