New York City-based indie band Loose Buttons returns to the scene with their newest single “Sure Thing.”
The new track captures the feeling of a late-night New York drive in the left lane toward forever. The single does heavy lifting, highlighting the band’s “sun-dappled garage sound” as described by The Fader. “Sure Thing” definitely lives up to the description, transporting listeners into a warm soundscape that is fresh, raw, and infectiously energetic.
The band is gearing up for the release of their upcoming album You Came to See Magic, which is due out August 21.
Loose Button’s Eric Nizgretsky shares about the album:
“We’ve been trying to pull the rabbit out of the hat for most of our lives, squeezing it into sub-three minute songs and hoping it lands. Somewhere along the way I realized that if you do that long enough with the people you love, it stops feeling like a trick. The people who are by your side through all of that, they become the ones you want around long after the lights go out. That’s the forever in it. You came to see magic.”
