Fiona Grey wears her heart on her sleeve in “Beer Drunk Glory Days”

Date:

Love remains constant, and truthfully, it’s meant to beat the odds. We are all flawed humans navigating life. Rising indie pop singer Fiona Grey has released her latest hit single, “Beer Drunk Glory Days”, which delves into the heart-wrenching aftermath of a breakup. In this song, Grey explores complex themes such as love, identity and self-discovery.

In “Beer Drunk Glory Days”, Grey tries to discover or rediscover her identity as her relationship dissolves right before her very eyes. During the chorus, she wears her heart on her sleeve, singing, “I don’t know what to say / I’m a world away / When you’re stuck on your beer drunk glory days”, with an upbeat charisma that captures her pained state of being.

The track is also accompanied by a music video featuring actor Adam Hagenbuch, known for his work in Perks of Being a Wallflower, Netflix’s Fuller House and ABC Family/Freeform’s Switched at Birth. The video parallels Grey’s emotional turmoil, capturing the shift from bliss to turbulence.

In a press release, Grey spoke about the compelling music video for “Beer Drunk Glory Days”:

“Getting back to acting was super fun and exciting. This music video allowed me to connect with a different type of storytelling.”
