808 BEACH and Belle Humble join forces for a whimsical club anthem on “Here’s Where The Story Ends”

Date:

808 BEACH is the creative brainchild of Bill Coleman and John “J-C” Carr. As a duo, they’ve produced, mixed, and recreated both familiar favorites and unexpected needle-drops into euphoric club anthems. Their new release, “Here’s Where The Story Ends”, brings in the multi-platinum singer-songwriter Belle Humble for an electrically evocative twist on the hit track from The Sundays.

“Here’s Where The Story Ends” ignites the ear with sparkling synths, lucid beats, and ethereal vocals from Belle Humble. The deluxe package released with the song includes remixes from artists among the likes of Zac Samuel, Byron The Aquarius, DANK & GLADIUS, Slowz, and Juan von Carlos. The single maintains the whimsical spirit of The Sundays while adding in lush and vibrant production.

Revealing more on the creation of the track, Bill Coleman of 808 BEACH shares, “The Sundays are one of my favorite bands ever. Their 1990 debut album, ‘Reading, Writing and Arithmetic’ is an undisputed alternative bliss pop classic. When thinking of a follow up to our last single, “WHATEVER DADDY SAYS,” John and I thought it was important for us to showcase a different layer to what we do outside of remixes. We had been sketching out ideas of a reverent but dance-able cover of the band’s “Here’s Where The Story Ends” for a couple of years now, going back and forth on direction. Once our friend and frequent collaborator Belle Humble agreed to grace us with her talents – we were beyond inspired to finish this burgeoning idea with a clarified vision. “Here’s Where The Story Ends” as a song is already perfect both lyrically and melodically. Belle’s colorful vocal tones and approach provide just the right feeling of honoring The Sundays original whilst comfortably embracing our more dance and club-oriented productions. It was an absolute joy to complete this.”

808 BEACH has worked on music from a wide variety of artists including Lizzo, Sia, Khalid, Lenny Kravitz, Billy Porter, Erasure, Arthur Baker, Sofi Tukker, Ultra Naté, Red Hot Organization. Their taste is unexpected and surprising, but their seamless sense of production delivers at every turn. “Here’s Where The Story Ends” is yet another serendipitous creative collaboration between 808 BEACH and Belle Humble that promises to be an unforgettable party anthem.
