Last weekend in Chattanooga, Holywatr turned a packed stop on the I Will Bite Back tour into something chaotic, heavy, and impossible to ignore with support from Shyeye.
From the second they stepped on stage, the band wasted no time building momentum, tearing through tracks like “Lip Service,” “Are You There?” and “Hiding in Plain Sight” with an intensity that immediately pulled the crowd into their world. By the time “Mistake” and “Without u” hit, the energy inside the venue had already escalated into complete chaos (in the best way possible).
Patrick commanded the crowd nonstop throughout the set, pacing across the stage, screaming into the mic, and feeding off every reaction thrown back at him. At one point, he even let out a few barks toward the audience. The second “Pure Leaf” started, bodies crashed into each other while fans screamed every lyric back at the stage.
“Burn the Witch” brought a different kind of heaviness entirely. The breakdowns were filthy in the best possible way, pulling stank faces out of nearly everyone in the room while the floor practically shook beneath the crowd. It was loud and completely unhinged.
During “Nail Polish,” in the middle of all the aggression and chaos, Patrick spotted his girlfriend in the crowd and sang directly to her. The intensity never disappeared, but the performance suddenly felt more personal and real, like the audience was witnessing something genuine instead of just another stop on tour.
The intensity continued through tracks like “My Mom’s In There !,” “Prove Me Wrong,” and “for the plot,” but one of the most memorable moments of the night arrived during “Winter Pine.” Performed without electric guitar, the stripped-back approach gave the set a brief moment to breathe while still holding the crowd completely captive.
Just when it felt like the night had already hit its peak, Holywatr returned for an encore with “beartrap” and “loose ends,” sending the crowd into one final frenzy before closing out the night.
By the end of the show, Chattanooga had been completely consumed by Holywatr’s world. The momentum never dipped once. Every song hit harder than the last. Every scream felt louder. Every moment carried an intensity that refused to let up. Even from behind the camera, it was impossible not to get pulled into it.
