Wasia Project announces debut album ‘Nocturne’ out September 18

Date:

England’s Wasia Project, formed by siblings Will Gao and Olivia Hardy, have announced their debut album Nocturne. Releasing on September 18 via AWAL Recordings, the album’s latest single “Bleeding Gold” also releases today.

Across 12 tracks, the duo describes the album as “a collection of songs that take us on a journey through the night.” Produced by St Francis Hotel, Nocturne continues to blend the sounds of jazz with indie-pop — the style that Wasia Project have become known for.

“Bleeding Gold” takes a darker tone in confronting nostalgia, with a greater understanding of what has come before you.

Formed in 2019, the duo has released 2 EPs and a plethora of singles, including April’s “2515,” also expected to be on the album.

Nocturne is available for pre-save now here.
