If you are a fan of the circus, alt-pop music, and ren faire attire, then you are in luck as Haute & Freddy bring all that and more with their baroque fever dream music and shows. Haute & Freddy is the dazzling brainchild of Michelle Buzz and Lance Shipp, who just released their debut album Big Disgrace earlier this year. The 13-track project introduces listeners to the duo’s decadent, larger than life pop universe, a world where vintage spectacle, underground club culture, and fearless self-expression collide. The album is a masterpiece and a work of art for an artists debut project.
Now the duo set out on a sold out North American tour full of rooms of very dedicated fans who are dressed to the nines. The band has a theme for every set of shows for the fans to try and dress up for. Boston’s theme was Queen’s Dumpster, which really brought out the creativity in everyone there. There were people dressed in corsets galore along with powered wigs and drag makeup, everyone truly slayed their looks. It’s what makes a Haute & Freddy show so fun to be at. The duo do such an amazing job at creating a safe and welcoming space for their fans to unapologetically let loose and just be freaks, in the best way.
Haute & Freddy brought an electrifying blend of charisma, musicianship, and theatrical flair to the stage, delivering a performance that was as visually engaging as it was musically satisfying. From the moment they appeared on stage, the duo commanded the audience’s attention with a confidence that felt both polished and genuine. They played the entire new album and fans were loving every moment of it. One could say they “Dance the Pain Away” all night long. The energy in the room was electric all night long, with not a dull moment in sight. One of the standout moments had to be when the duo brought up a few fans on stage to dance with them for “Scantily Clad”. They scanned the audience for the best dressed people, which was very hard to pick since everyone brought their A game. Each person brought on stage got their moment to shine on stage in front of the crowd, it was such a sweet moment to witness.

By the end of the night, Haute & Freddy had proven themselves to be more than talented musicians, they were entertainers. Their blend of musical skill, visual creativity, and genuine audience engagement resulted in a memorable performance that left fans eager for their next appearance. It was a concert that celebrated not only great music but also the joy of live performance itself, and just unapologetically being your weirdest self. Be sure to catch Haute & Freddy at a show near you, which you can find tickets and more info here!
