FIGHTMASTER made their way into Boston for a rowdy night filled with queer joy at The Sinclair. FIGHTMASTER is the musical project by nonbinary artist and activist, E.R. Fightmaster. They recently announced their debut full-length album Tolerance, which is set to be out on June 5th. You may know E.R. from acting in Grey’s Anatomy, but now you know their music is just as amazing as their acting! Their lead single from the album “All or Nothing“ is a brilliant song and one that really sets the tone for the rest of the album, along with latest single “Glide”.
The crowd in Boston was in for a treat as FIGHTMASTER knows how to put on a stellar show, night in and night out. Blending raw vulnerability with explosive rock, they delivered a performance that felt both deeply personal and unapologetically loud. FIGHTMASTER’S stage presence was equally compelling. They moved with restless energy, pacing the stage and throwing themselves into each song without sacrificing musical precision. Between tracks, their interactions with the audience felt genuine and unforced, adding warmth to an otherwise emotionally intense set.
They played a great handful of songs from their discography including tracks from EPs like “Violence”, and “Bloodshed Baby”, along with playing new songs from the upcoming album Tolerance. They took a moment to show their appreciation for the crowd in supporting the new music and showing up to these shows without even knowing some of the new songs being played. That just shows how dedicated the fans really are.
FIGHTMASTER didn’t just perform a concert, they created an atmosphere where people could scream, feel, and completely lose themselves for an hour. It was the kind of show that lingers in your mind long after the final note fades. The energy was electric all night. It was certainly a night to remember.
