Over the weekend, Corbyn Besson performed at Jenkinson’s Boardwalk as part of Z100’s annual Jumpstart to Summer. Drawing in one of the biggest crowds of the day, his set was definitely well-loved by the fans.
Being a part of this iconic tradition at the Jersey Shore is a cool milestone for anyone who has the opportunity to do it. Over the years they’ve had some iconic artists on their lineup; Zara Larsson, Shinedown, Flo Rida, Jelly Roll, and many others.
Despite it being a little chilly throughout the day, the energy didn’t slow down one bit. Fans had been waiting since before the doors opened at 7am that morning, only proving their loyalty and dedication to the performers.
A little before 2pm, the intro track started and Corbyn stepped on stage. The crowd went crazy, drowning out the first few notes. He opened the set with “Kiss” off his debut EP HEAD FIRST, bringing out his backup dancers halfway into the song. The audience got even louder, completely transforming the energy in the room.

He smoothly transitioned to “Tied Up”, interacting with the fans at the front of the room. From there, he dropped right into his debut solo single, “Love Me Better.” As he made his way back and forth on the stage, his dancers kept the energy up in the background.
He took a quick break to talk with the crowd, saying how he’s (shockingly) never been to the Jersey Shore and giving Z100 a shoutout for having him. From there he sang “Panic,” his collaboration with NOTD from 2024. If you ask anyone that’s seen Corbyn live before, you know this song always gets the audience jumping.
Now that his set was halfway over, he introduced the next song saying, “If you were ever gonna get up and dance it’s right now.” He then jumped right into “Summer,” hitting some more choreography with his backup dancers. This was definitely the perfect song to add to the setlist, and the energy in the room proved it.

After introducing his dancers, his drummer, and chatting a bit more, Corbyn sang “Ruin Me” from HEAD FIRST.
He then asked the crowd if he could play some guitar, to which he got a very enthusiastic yes. Once he said, “this is a song some of y’all might know and if you know [it] please sing along,” there was a unanimous assumption that it would be a throwback from the Why Don’t We days. He went on to perform “Fallin’”, the band’s lead single from their second album The Good Times and The Bad Ones.
He closed his set with “Blink”, his collaboration with TZUYU of TWICE, before leaving the stage to thunderous applause and cheers.

As usual, Corbyn left everything on the stage and gave the fans a show worth waiting for. Even though it was a condensed version of his headline show earlier this year, the energy and the fan turnout made it feel no different.
This just gave fans a taste of what’s to come on THE POP’N OUT TOUR, his upcoming double-headline tour with Soulidified. Beginning in August, tickets and VIP upgrades are on sale now here.
