The Runarounds continue to chase a past emotional high on their latest single, “Bleachers.”

After selling out shows and carving out their own path both on and off the big screen following the debut of their titular Amazon Prime Video series, The Runarounds, the five-piece band is back, releasing their party-ready track, “Bleachers.”

The rhythmic, energetic song was teased during their Minivan Tour in early 2026 and follows an intense, nostalgic connection you felt with someone before, usually tied to youth or a specific memory.

Often associated with the band’s live performances at venues like the House of Blues, “Bleachers” has already built a strong connection with fans in a concert setting.

They sing, “Chasin’ the feeling we felt before / Never never felt so alone / Tucked in the backseat / We get too high / Cause your hands in mine felt, so right.”

Even though they know they can’t replicate it again, they are trying to recreate something that once felt special.

Through imagery like the backseat and being under the bleachers, the song captures an innocence laced with intensity, because it’s just youthful romance. Even though they’re physically together, it’s understood that something emotional is missing now.
