Lily Crow‘s new single “rub it in” doesn’t hold back.
The Nashville artist is known for expressing themes of heartache and self-reflection while blending sounds of 2010s pop and 90s indie rock. Crow invites audiences into her world through her vulnerability, catchy lyrics, and pop melodies.
“rub it in” was written by Crow herself and produced by Tyler Skye. She has shared that it’s part of a large project coming soon that has yet to be announced.
“rub it in” has Lily’s vulnerability written all over it: “you play the victim like a villain, but i’m not above it / what’s pointing fingers, if the blame comes right back into orbit…”
The song is made for fans of Gracie Abrams and Phoebe Bridgers, and fans that love vulnerable lyrics confronting heartbreak and uncertainty.
“rub it in” is out now.
