Navah Sea croons about the challenges of life in “Push and Pulling”

Date:

Britain born and Los Angeles based songwriter, producer, and visual artist Phil Simmonds released a new song titled “Push and Pulling” under the poetic alias Navah Sea. The alternative, indie-tronica track is contemplative and haunting. The vocal layering done by Simmonds, particularly on the chorus, creates this eerie illusion of a collective body singing.

The general energy of the song aligns with its message. Sonically and lyrically, it captures the give and take of life. Something is constantly pushing you forward, but something equally as powerful can pull you back. You can be caught in a vicious push-and-pull cycle which can be extraordinarily difficult to break when it’s “all [i’ve/you’ve] ever wanted.”

“Push and Pulling” marks a new era of creativity and exploration for Navah Sea. The song is proof that the British triple threat continues to find innovative ways to experiment with his sound.

Navah Sea’s new single “Push and Pulling” is out now.
