Hot Mulligan just released their new single “I Don’t Think It’s the Right Time for Emojis” along with a music video earlier this week.

The single is centered around themes of hypocrisy in modern religion and the questioning of faith. It’s definitely a hot topic today considering the current state of the world, and Hot Mulligan is clearly not afraid to continue being outspoken about what’s been going on.

Speaking on zealotry and what it means for some people to be involved in their religion, Sanville had this to share about the single:

I think some people can do it right. They’re nice people with a big nice ghost and I don’t mind that one bit. But I think most people are just so afraid to die that they can look past the evil thing their church has become.”
