On Sunday night, Conan Gray brought the Wishbone World Tour to Prague’s O2 Arena, playing to a room full of fans decked out in sailor gear to mirror his tour aesthetic. He was joined by Australian singer-songwriter Esha Tewari as support.

Esha Tewari and her bandmates took the stage to loud cheers from the arena, which was already filling up. Approaching the mic with her guitar, she launched right into “bad decision!” without any introduction. When the song ended, she addressed the crowd with a big smile before introducing her bandmates on guitar and drums — the three women truly lit up the stage.

Her delicate voice floated through the room as the crowd sang the words back to her. A few songs in, fans across the arena began using their phone flashlights to track the beat, creating an effect that clearly surprised Tewari as she laughed through some of her lyrics. “That was so organized!” she exclaimed when the song was over. Fans continued to swirl their flashlights around for the next few songs, some even using their screens to shine bright pink light around the room to match Tewari’s stage lighting.

“About Me” was a highlight of her set, with fans eager to get involved in the call-and-response Tewari requested.

Conan Gray took the stage to high fanfare. His band came on first, people buzzing with anticipation as they waited for the beloved singer-songwriter to finally appear.

His entrance was nothing short of cinematic, with a gorgeous landscape on the screen behind his band. He rode a bike onto the stage in a full navy blue sailor’s outfit, complete with a sailor hat and wishbone accents. He approached the mailbox onstage, which had Prague, CZ: O2 Arena written on it, and grabbed a letter.

And with that, “act i: a wishbone never breaks even” lingered on the screen and Conan began with “My World” from his 2025 hit album Wishbone. The first few songs were a good mix of old and new, getting fans from every era hyped up for the night to come. He took some time to walk out onto the stage legs on each side, singing to every inch of the room.

act i closed with the danceable hit “Wish You Were Sober” before Gray exited the stage and act ii began with the emotional line “someone always gets the short end of the stick.” When he returned, he was clad in striped pajamas reminiscent of his Wishbone Pajamaa Show tour dates. The crowd particularly loved “People Watching,” with Gray coming off the stage and walking across the barricade.

“Nauseous” marked the return of the light show from the audience; fans across the room tracked the beat with their flashlights, wowing Conan just like they had wowed Esha before him. As he sat down for Conan’s Campfire, during which he plays a surprise acoustic song on his guitar (complete with a wishbone graphic on the front), he remarked “I came here to put on a show for you, but you’re putting on a show for me, thank you so much.” He then launched into his sweet ballad “Door.”

act iii, the longest of them all, began with an interlude as Gray disappeared from the stage, returning in another, more sailor-esque outfit to continue with “Romeo.” One of the best moments of the night came a few songs later: he asked, “who wants to help me pick the next song?” before coming down to the barricade and choosing two fans to make the choice between “this song” and “The Exit.”

Before they did, though, they insisted on giving him some rat stuffed animals they’d brought — a callback to the “rat pack” lyrics from his hit song “Maniac.” Then, Gray pulled out a wishbone and announced that whoever gets the long end when it breaks gets to choose the song. When he and the fans broke it, the fans ended up with the shorter end — but this was quickly remedied by Gray cheekily swapping their pieces.

“The Exit” was the chosen song, and fans went wild. “The Exit” was a true experience; the light show onstage, the camera work on the screen, and Gray’s vocals were all so perfectly in sync that it felt like the audience lost themselves. The crowd was singing so loud, in fact, that sometimes it was difficult to hear Gray’s own performance.

After a few emotional tracks like “Heather” and “Family Line,” Gray layed down on the bed that had been brought on stage and closed his eyes before act iv: i wished for love, and i found it began with “Actor.”

During an extended intro for “Maniac,” Gray introduced his all-female band, who had been absolutely killing it the whole night. Gray was the only male performer to take the stage during his headlining tour, and that alone makes a statement we highly respect.

He then paused to tell us he had “some very sad news”: this was his last song. But “Vodka Cranberry” was a full-on party, and fans gave it all they had. He waved with gratitude to the crowd when the song finished before running off stage.

But we didn’t have to wait very long for the encore. After a few minutes, the band re-entered, followed by Conan Gray in his most glamorous outfit yet: a sparkly blue captain’s uniform. He glittered throughout every second of “Memories” and “Caramel,” fans going absolutely wild when confetti cannons exploded for the big finale.

Conan Gray’s The Wishbone Tour date in Prague was nothing short of an experience. Gray put on an incredible show; his voice sounded amazing all night, his costumes and stage props immersed us even more into his world, and the well-thought-out lighting and camera work made certain that this was a full-scale production.

Gray clearly has a knack for bringing people together through his music. His emotional lyrics cut right to the core, creating a strong community within his fan base. This was evident in the amount of sailor costumes that were present at the O2 Arena as well as the spontaneous-yet-coordinated arena-wide light show the fans put on for both of the performers last night. Conan Gray brought the music and the emotion; the fans brought the community and the passion.
