Alt/pop artist Bo Baskoro has just released his emotional new track, “The Lonely Nights”, confronting the diverse range of emotions that accompany the end of a relationship. Baskoro elaborates further:

“‘The Lonely Nights’ is about the frustration of knowing that even though you feel used, manipulated, and lied to by the person who left you, you still love them and want them to be happy, even if it’s with the person they left you for.”

While the song is undoubtedly a sad one, the steady percussion backing the dreamy vocals serves to add an upbeat energy to the song and makes the listener want to sing along. Mixing electronic elements with raw acoustics and vulnerable vocals, Baskoro simultaneously conveys pain and love, heartbreak and tenderness, in a way that makes the listener feel like they’re on the emotional journey with him. You can listen here.

This is the Portland native’s third single of 2023, following the release of the hit “Holding You Over” and “DNA”, a collaboration with co-producer Justin Abel. Baskoro continues to make honest and passionate music influenced heavily by his Indonesian heritage.

If you want more of Bo, he’s currently featured as a face of MAX by Maxwell House®, with his single “High” having been produced for one of their marketing campaigns.
