Following the release of his latest song “crossfire”, Carter Rubin confirmed the next step in his music journey; something i’ll never unsee, his sophomore EP, is set for release on Oct. 9.
If there’s one thing that’s certain, it’s that 2026 is keeping Carter booked and busy. Since the year started, he’s given us 2 stellar singles, “cost of finding out” and “crossfire,” which were just the beginning of his EP rollout.
As if one announcement wasn’t enough, Carter also revealed that the third single “killing spree” hits streaming services on Aug. 28. Fans knew the project was in the process, but the double announcement came as a fabulous surprise on their social media feeds yesterday.
something i’ll never see will be the younger sibling to his 2024 debut I Still Know Nothing, and saying that was received well by fans would be an understatement. “This project unfolded so beautifully and so accidentally that I didn’t even realize I had it until all the chapters were written out”, Carter shared on his Instagram announcement post.
“I can’t put into words how over the moon I am about it and I’m counting down the days till you hear it.”
Aside from the three singles, the rest of the tracklist remains under lock and key. Pre-save “killing spree” here before its official release next Friday, Aug. 28.
