Maude Latour shares wholesome new song “Lola”

Alt-pop superstar Maude Latour is back with another wonderful song “Lola”. It’s a hopeful heartwarming song dedicated to one of her best friends Lola. The song is about protecting her friends and the planet while wanting to make the world a better place. It’s a love letter to the world and her closest friends.

“Sharing this song feels like being in love,” Maude says of her new release. “‘Lola’ is about the desire to protect my friends, for a dream of a better planet, for healing, for keeping queer people protected, women protected, for my sister, and the air that I’m breathing. This song is also dedicated to one of my best friends, Lola—she is a magical person.”

The song itself is stellar and will leave you in all your feels. It’s a heartfelt song with meaningful lyrics but will still have you up grooving along to it. Maude’s vocals really soar in this track, backed with mesmerizing electronics and pop flavor. it’s everything you’d want in a song. Maude has been making a name for herself since she released her 2021 EP Strangers Forever which garnered her critical acclaim along with her previously released single “Headphones”which has been praised by Rolling Stone and NPR. Maude has done all of this in only a short amount of time and she is still on the rise to stardom. She is set to graduate from Columbia University soon so there is big things in store for her. We can’t wait to see what she has up her sleeve next!
