Gabrielle Ornate fights her demons in new single “Dark Prophecy”

Date:

Gabrielle Ornate released “Dark Prophecy” last Friday. It’s a haunting pop-rock record about fighting your inner demons and facing the unknown that the future brings.

Following the release of the metal-influenced “Stolen Faces” earlier this year, she now brings her pop sensibilities to the forefront on “Dark Prophecy” while still maintaining her signature, true rock sound with a predominantly electric guitar instrumentation.

Known for inserting spellbinding messages in her music, here she sings in the chorus about said prophecy: “Will it fade away in desperation? / Spiraling and living through a nation.” In an Instagram post, the singer revealed that the song is her way of “turning negativity into positivity.”
