Christina Aguilera has released “My Favorite Things (Live from the Eiffel Tower),” a Christmas version of The Sound of Music’s classic show tune. The new single will be included in the holiday film Christina Aguilera: Christmas in Paris, premiering exclusively in theaters on December 14 and 21. Fans can purchase advance tickets here.
Directed by Emmy Award-winning filmmaker Sam Wrench, Christmas in Paris will feature Aguilera performing for an intimate audience on the winter garden terrace above the Musée du Quai Branly. In addition to holiday classics, the film will include cabaret-style performances of her biggest hits, shot at the iconic Crazy Horse.
The release coincides with the 25th anniversary of Aguilera’s platinum Christmas album, My Kind of Christmas. In an Instagram post, the superstar shared her excitement for the special project:
“When the magic of Christmas meets the magic of Paris… something truly extraordinary happens. I can’t wait to share this holiday season with you.”
