ALBUM REVIEW: George Ezra // Staying At Tamara’s

Date:

On Friday 23rd March George Ezra released his new album Staying At Tamara’s. It’s been a long 4 year wait for fans since his hit debut album Wanted On Voyage was released but it was definitely worth the wait.

The album feels like a continuation of his debut, jam packed with feel good songs. Stand out songs from the album are Shotgun, a perfect summer anthem with an incredibly catchy bass line. The anthemic Paradise which draws you in with its huge chorus, its clear to see why this song was chosen as the initial single release as it sets the tone of the album wonderfully.

Towards the latter end of the album the mood of the album changes, with a more mature sound that shows of Ezra’s incredible vocals. Songs such as Hold My Girl, A Beautiful Dream and Saviour, which is a collaboration with the Swedish folk duo First Aid Kit. With this album George Ezra will undoubtably have great success.
