Recent News: Scheduled for several festival shows this year (Vans Warped Tour, Riot Fest, Louder Than Life), and slated to open for Hollywood Undead and In This Moment this fall.

Having recently finished her debut headlining tour across the U.S., New Zealand-based singer-songwriter Vana is quickly rising in the modern metal scene. Blending ethereal pop vocals with brutal screams, the “BEG!” singer possesses an unrelenting hard rock musicality, as well as an artistry fueled by dark feminine rage. Bringing together catchy hooks with heavy breakdowns, Vana has been heralded by many as a breakout star for 2026 due to both her gothic symbolism and explorations of feminism, mental health, and queer empowerment.

Releasing “In Your Name,” her first single of the year, back in April, the artist is now gearing up for appearances at Vans Warped Tour, Riot Fest, Louder Than Life, and Knotfest in the coming months. Having just recently graced the stage at Warped Tour in Washington, D.C., the festival marked Vana’s debut U.S. festival performance — as well as her very first time attending Warped Tour (an unforgettable moment for any rock fan). Bringing her ferocious energy to festival audiences for the first time, there’s no doubt that the momentum surrounding Vana’s high-octane artistry will continue to grow as she plays more festivals this year.

Following her performance at the Long Beach date of Warped Tour on July 25, Vana will play a select number of Australian shows with Ocean Sleeper, Nevertel, and Outloved this September. After these dates, Vana is also slated to join Melrose Avenue and I See Stars as openers for Hollywood Undead and In This Moment on The Return of Taste of Chaos Tour this fall.

With an artistry that is as captivating as it is provocative, there’s no doubt Vana will soon be on every metal fan’s musical radar — especially with talks of her debut full-length album arriving later this year. Known for embracing darker visuals and themes within her work, Vana balances this with a charming radiance, allowing her music to be both inviting and mystical. Ever since releasing her debut EP Die For Me! in 2023, she has continued to build upon her magnetic artistry. Inspired by Catholicism and her religious upbringing, Vana explores these concepts through a musicality inspired by pop, rock, and metal influences.

Singles released throughout 2024, such as “BEG!” and “RAGDOLL,” further cemented Vana as a rising metalcore star, and soon landed her a record deal with Sumerian Records in early 2025. That same year, she supported the likes of Set It Off, Fame On Fire, and Linkin Park on their respective tours before embarking on her debut headlining run in 2026.

Quickly making a name for herself as one of hard rock’s most exciting new acts, Vana is carving her own space in the scene through her eclectic sonic identity and goth aesthetics. Maintaining a captivating blend of dreamy darkness with brutal vulnerability, 2026 will continue to be a monumental year for the rising alternative trailblazer.
