Brady Brazeal’s previous three singles are also the first three singles that the 18-year-old country singer-songwriter has written and recorded. The first was “My Last Name,” which came out almost one year ago and introduced audiences to Brady’s gritty yet vulnerable sound. He followed up the release with “I Got to Thinkin’” and “I’ll Be Watching,” two tracks that helped build Brady’s strong fanbase and verify his presence in the country scene. So far, 2026 is off to a great start for Brady, as he made his debut festival appearance at Wahoo Music Festival in February and landed on Spotify’s ‘All New Country.’ Now, he is releasing his first single of the year.
Produced by Joe Costa, “You’re Okay” finds Brady showing up for someone who takes him for granted. The track is warm, patient, and observant as Brady calmy puts his feelings out in the open. Against the downhearted twangy melodies, he asks, “You say that everything’s okay / Do you realize that I’m the guy / Who always comes and saves the day?” and concludes, “Well, I’m the only one who gives a damn / Love, don’t even try to say / That you’re okay.” You can check it out below.
Telling us more about “You’re Okay,” Brady shares,
“I wrote this song about a certain time in my life that I felt like, at the time, would never end. I tried to fix something that couldn’t be fixed, and learned the hard way. No matter how much you care or how much you want the best for someone, some people will never be able to hold accountability for themselves and never accept that they’re in the wrong and always try to blame everyone else just to make themselves feel better about it. It’s hard to do, but sometimes, it’s best to just love from a distance.”
On April 23, Brady will make his headline show debut at Blue Canoe in Tupelo, Mississippi. Tickets are currently SOLD OUT, but you can find more information here.
