Local Weatherman announce new EP ‘Right One’ out Jan. 16

Date:

Rock band Local Weatherman has officially revealed that their new EP, Right One, will be out everywhere on Jan. 16. The group recently released their single “Thread,” which is the first view into the upcoming project.

Band leader, Fritz Ortman, spoke more about “Thread” and the story behind it:

“‘Thread’ is about having no release valve when your mind is racing. It’s the heaviest song we’ve made, but I think the bridge is one of the prettiest moments on the EP. This song also reckons with the rockstar dreams I had growing up (and maybe still have), and each verse ends with a nod to a song I loved as a kid.”

The new EP also follows the return that the band made last year when they released “The Hole.”
