5 artists to not miss at Sips and Sounds 2025

Austin, get ready! Coca-Cola’s Sips & Sounds Music Festival is back at Auditorium Shores on March 7-8. Headlined by Grammy-nominated icons Halsey and Benson Boone, the two-day celebration of music will showcase 17 incredible artists, including Khalid, AJR, Suki Waterhouse, Chelsea Cutler & Jeremy Zucker Present: brent, Ashe, Nessa Barrett, Gus Dapperton, Paul Russell, Claire Rosinkranz, Blusher, Arcy Drive, Disko Cowboy, DJ Cassandra, Dazzle Camouflage, and Austin Ashtin.

We had a hard time choosing our Top 5 to see and wish we could feature each one. That being said, use this as a guide to plan out your Sips and Sounds weekend! If you aren’t attending, make sure to check out the artist featured and others on the incredible lineup.

#1 Suki Waterhouse

When She’s Playing: Friday, March 7th

Suki Waterhouse is a english singer-song and actress. She began writing music when she was 16 while she was modeling, before releasing her hit, “Brutally,” in 2016 which kick started her music career. Suki has since relseased her debut studio album, I Can’t Let Go, played Karen in the hit prime TV Show; Daisy Jones and the Six, opened for Taylor Swift, and recently wrapped her headlining Sparklemuffin Tour. 


#2 Gus Dapperton

When He’s Playing: Friday, March 7th

Gus Dapperton started making music on Garageband and once he started creating his own vocals and instrumentals, it lead to his first song, “Moodna, Once With Grace” in 2016. Since adopting the name Gus, he has distanced himself from his birth name, Brendon Patrick Rice, and takes pride in embracing his true self through his music and artist name. In 2024, he released his debut EP, Tunes For Late Spring, which fans have loved and are eagerly awaiting new music we hope is coming soon!


#3 Claire Rosinkranz

When She’s Playing: Saturday, March 8th

Claire Rosinkranz is a singer-songwriter from California. After releasing some of her songs on social media, she was signed to Republic Records at the age 16. She eventually got the recognition she deserves in 2020 when her hit “Backyard Boy” went viral on Tiktok. Her indie-pop style and effortless vocals are fully shown on her latest album from 2023, Just Because, with new music on the way!


#4 Chelsea Cutler & Jeremy Zucker

When They’re Playing: Saturday, March 8th

Chelsea Cutler and Jeremy Zucker are a lo-fi pop duo from New York. They started writing together in 2018, eventually releasing brent i in 2019, but have been friends since 2016. They both have learned to love getting away from the hectic city of New York which has led to brent i, brent ii and now brent iii. Though this might be the last “brent” album, this definitely is not the last of this duo, on stage and in the studio.


#5 Paul Russell

When He’s Playing: Saturday, March 8th
Similar Artists: Shaboozey, Kylie Minogue, Connor Price.

Paul Russell is an American rapper, winger-songwriter from Los Angeles rising up in the industry. His hit “Lil Boo Thang” blew up on social media in 2023, leading him to sign with label Arista. His latest song “Confessions” released in January and he has also revealed a new album is on the way and we cannot wait!
