Sleep Theory are putting their own spin on a pop classic with the release of their cover of *NSYNC’s five-times multi-platinum hit, “Bye Bye Bye.” The rockers have been performing the early 2000s anthem live in recent months, and after seeing the response from fans, they decided to bring the track into the studio.
While remaining largely faithful to the original, Sleep Theory inject their signature sound into the song, adding guitars, double-kick drums, and metalcore-inspired moments throughout. Vocalist Cullen Moore takes the lead on the track, with bassist Paolo Vergara and the rest of the band joining in to recreate the harmonies that made the original so iconic. The result is a nostalgic yet refreshing reimagining that highlights the band’s ability to blend heavy music with massive, memorable hooks.
The release arrives as Sleep Theory continue supporting their debut album, Afterglow, with festival appearances and headline shows throughout the year.
