Olivia Rodrigo announced today that she will be spearheading her own music festival, Daisy Chain Fields. The festival will take place in Irvine, California, at Great Park on August 29. Ticket pre-sale will begin tomorrow, June 24, at 1pm EST.

Rodrigo announced the festival in the latest Pitchfork zine. Just like Lilith Fair in the 90s, Daisy Chain Fields boasts an all-female line up with acts such as Chappell Roan, Doechii, Bikini Kill, The Breeders, Mitski, as well as KATSEYE. Stevie Nicks, Sarah McLachlan, and Karen O are also set to be special guests at the festival. All of the performers have agreed to not take a profit from their festival performances.

In the mission statement posted to Instagram, Rodrigo describes the festival as “A place where inspiration and curiosity lead to knowledge, strength, and action.” The full mission statement can be found below.

Net profits from ticket sales will go towards non-profit organizations advocating for young women and girls. This follows the precedent that Rodrigo established on the Guts world tour, during which she launched the Fund 4 Good which provided reproductive heath resources to young women nationwide. The initiative won her the Catalyst of Change award at the spring 2025 Planned Parenthood gala.

Rodrigo has spoken many times about the connection she feels with the young girls who come to her shows. She told Pitchfork:

“I feel really connected to the young girls that come to my concerts, and the fact that I get to be in the fabric of their lives is a real, true honor that I don’t take lightly. I just feel like we need something really positive to do and see, and young girls need awesome role models who are supporting other women and who are engaging in something that’s really joyful and musical and community-oriented.”

Daisy Chain Fields will make its debut on August 29, you can find the full line up of artists playing the festival and sign up for pre-sale here.
