The Lucky release their first single of the year, “Say It’s Me”

Date:

Los Angeles-based pop trio The Lucky are back with their newest single “Say It’s Me,” their first song of 2026.

“Say It’s Me” boasts an anthemic chorus, irresistible hooks, and electrifying energy that disguise its melancholy lyrics beneath a vibrant, feel-good sound.

The track is a plea for someone to stick around for just a little longer, maybe even just one night, so you can feel like the world is alright for a few hours more. It asks the simple question, “Would you stay or walk away?” — a question so simple and heartfelt that nearly everyone can relate to it.

Vocalist Tucker Click shares more about the song, stating:

“We wanted to capture that moment when things are hard in a relationship. Where there’s a reflection of ‘I’m not sure if this person wants to be with me,’ while nearly begging them to stay. I think it’s a delicate balance of the sound of the song to the lyrics. I wanted it to sound like this is the last good night together, going out and dancing, while these are the thoughts racing in the back of your head.”

The Lucky have spent years developing a sound that sits somewhere between The Band CAMINO, The WLDLFE, Paramore, and The 1975. They are now hitting their stride, blending their trademark guitar hooks with soaring, larger-than-life production to create a sound that feels both fresh and unmistakably their own.
