The Bay Area rapper G-Eazy made his long-awaited Cincy return to Bogart’s for his Helium Tour on May 9th. He delivered a high-octane performance that blurred the line between West Coast cool and mainstream magnetism, captivating a crowd that came ready to party, scream, and lose themselves in the beat.
The show kicked off with Goody Grace and Marc E. Bassy. Goody Grace gave a stunning acoustic set, leaving the crowd stunned after performing some of his hits like “Scumbag,” “Nothing Good,” and “Two Shots.” This was followed up by an amazing performance by Marc E. Bassy, giving the crowd nothing but good vibes and nostalgia while performing hits like “Morning” and “You And Me,” and G-Eazy actually came out and performed with him!
When it came to G-Eazy’s turn to take the stage, the show kicked off with a dramatic entrance: dim lights, moody synths, and G-Eazy striding out in his signature leather jacket, launching into “One of Them.” The crowd instantly erupted, feeding off his laid-back charisma and tight flow.
Throughout the night, G-Eazy proved why he’s carved out such a distinct space in hip-hop. His set balanced old favorites like “Me, Myself & I” and “No Limit” with newer, more introspective tracks such as “Provide” and “Running Wild (Tumblr Girls Pt. 2).” Whether he was rapping about fame, heartbreak, or the highs and lows of his journey, G’s delivery was razor-sharp and emotionally raw. As always, he delivered an amazing must-see show for his fans.
