Last Thursday, London’s O2 Forum Kentish Town welcomed Djo’s live show for the first time. The American singer-songwriter stopped by as part of his Back On You World Tour with Post Animal, presenting his latest album The Crux.
The first of three sold-out shows at the venue kicked off with Decide’s “Runner”, gradually introducing his band on stage. This was followed by more tracks from The Crux, including singles “Delete Ya” and “Basic Being Basic”, as well as some lesser-known songs from his debut album like “Mortal Projections” and “Chateau (Feel Alright)”. The London crowd were also able to enjoy “Gap Tooth Smile”, with a bridge that set the tone for the last two songs before the encore, “End Of Beginning” and “Potion”.
The encore featured one of Joe’s favorites and title track of the tour “Back On You” as well as Twenty Twenty’s “Flash Mountain”, which closed the night on a powerful high note, leaving everyone wishing they had tickets for the next day to be able to see it all over again.
Most dates for Djo’s Back On You Tour are sold our or nearing sold out status. Be sure to snag your tickets before it’s too late. You can find upcoming tour dates on djomusic.com.
