On May 8, 2025, San Diego’s indie-pop trio Almost Monday brought part two of The Dive Tour to Charlotte’s Amos’ Southend.
The night kicked off with “Is It Too Late,” immediately immersing the crowd in the band’s signature sun-soaked sound. The energy escalated with their hit “Can’t Slow Down”. The song’s pulsating beat had the audience grooving, especially during the chorus: “I can’t slow down if I wanted to / Yeah, the speakers so loud, spinning around the room / And I don’t know where I’m going but I gotta move / She said, ‘Boy, boy, are you coming too?’”
The momentum continued with “Cough Drops,” showcasing the band’s ability to blend catchy melodies with introspective lyrics. Throughout the set, frontman Dawson Daugherty’s dynamic stage presence, combined with Cole Clisby’s guitar riffs and Luke Fabry’s rhythmic bass lines, kept the audience engaged and dancing.
