Sam Fender details new album ‘People Watching’

Date:

English singer-songwriter and musician Sam Fender, known for blending for British rock sensibilities with his traditional American musical upbringing, has announced his upcoming third album, People Watching, set to release on Feb. 21, 2025, via Polydor Records.

This news comes after the sell-out of tickets for Fender’s UK and Ireland tour, beginning in December 2024. Fender played two unreleased songs, the title track and “Nostalgia’s Lie” during an intimidate show in Plymouth in August, giving fans an early taste of the new album. This month, Fender began teasing the release of “People Watching,” which drops this Friday, Nov. 15, 2024, along with the track’s artwork and story.

Produced by Fender with bandmates Dean Thompson and Joe Atkinson, as well as producer Markus Dravs and The War on Drugs’ Adam Granduciel, People Watching is being described as his “next steps forward.” According to a press release, the album will showcase “[colorful] stories and observations of everyday characters living their everyday, but often extraordinary, lives.”
