FINNEAS announces highly anticipated sophomore album ‘For Cryin’ Out Loud!’ out in October

Date:

FINNEAS, born Finneas Baird O’Connell, has announced his highly anticipated sophomore album, For Cryin’ Out Loud!, which is scheduled to be released on Oct. 4, 2024, via Interscope Records. Known for being his sister Billie Eilish’s go-to producer, FINNEAS co-wrote and produced her latest album, Hit Me Hard and Soft, which was released earlier this year.

Leading the forthcoming project, For Cryin’ Out Loud!, is its title track, which FINNEAS shared this week. The single is accompanied by a music video directed by Isaac Ravishankara and features FINNEAS’ girlfriend, Claudia Sulewski, in a starring role.

For Cryin’ Out Loud! marks a departure from FINNEAS’ mentality as a bedroom producer, moving toward a more conventional studio setup, and will instead feature a series of live studio sessions in Los Angeles with FINNEAS’ friends and peers. This project follows his debut record, Optimist (2021).
