SAINT KID shares blame in single “Shooting Range”

Date:

19-year-old artist SAINT KID from Upstate, N.Y., recently unveiled his latest single “Shooting Range.” The indie-pop song features an electric guitar laden with a soft synth overlay. SAINT KID has been making waves this year, with four released tracks, and now he is back with “Shooting Range.”

It seamlessly features a dark pop element and some musical sounds reminiscent of the band Wallows. He sings about being “face to face at the shooting range.” “I want a second chance so we can talk this through,” in this emotionally-ridden and introspective track. Nevertheless, SAINT KID admits that he does share some of the blame for their relationship’s downfall.

Recognized for his ambient and textured music, and his vulnerable melodies, music has always been a safe space for SAINT KID, and “Shooting Range” capitalizes on the singer’s undeniable indie-pop sound. The song concludes with a steady drum beat, and a vibrating synth that pierces through your brain.
