Founded in 2015 after members Jake Diab and Joseph Coccimiglio met while working at a grocery store, Canadian pop-rock outfit Autumn Kings have spent nearly the last decade as an independent band. But right now, they stand in the midst of perhaps the most transformative era of their career. After spending their entire duration as an independent band, Autumn Kings signed on with Hopeless Records in 2024, announcing the partnership with breakthrough singles “HELLBOUND” and “SLEEP WHEN I’M DEAD.” Now, the group prepares for the release of their new album Epiphanies, out September 18, which will stand as their first project ever released through a label.

Describing themselves as a mix of Linkin Park and Fall Out Boy, Autumn Kings have become synonymous with a hard-hitting yet catchy musicality. Blending heavy guitar riffs with pop hooks and rap-style vocals, the band uses this eclectic musical style to amplify their ultimate message of community, mental health, and acceptance. Encouraging listeners to overcome whatever obstacles lie in their path through courage, persistence, and speaking up, Autumn Kings aptly describe their songs as “anthems for living life on your own terms” — and rightfully so.

After sharing their debut album Silver Screens in 2017, Autumn Kings made significant headway with their hard rock cover of Ricky Martin’s “Livin’ La Vida Loca.” The band continued to expand upon their magnetic artistry with their 2019 EP Electrified and their 2022 full-length album Book of the Broken. Over the years, the band has toured with the likes of Set It Off, Hollywood Undead, and Fame On Fire, and just recently finished supporting pop metal trailblazers Melrose Avenue on the U.S. leg of their world tour.

Through the remainder of this year, Autumn Kings will continue to bring their high-energy live shows to audiences across the U.S. Slated to make appearances at Rock Fest and Rocklahoma this year, they will then join Pinknoise, Versus Me, and Coldstate as support for Archers on their run of 2026 headlining shows this September. After this run, Autumn Kings will then be the supporting act for Black Veil Brides on their Vindicatour II U.S. tour from September 16 through September 27.

Preaching the importance of dedication and ferocity through their music, it is this very drive that has set Autumn Kings apart from the rest, earning them opening spots for some of alt-metal’s brightest stars. Delivering a unique hard rock sound with unwavering optimism, there’s no denying that Autumn Kings will continue to carve a space for themselves in the modern rock scene with the release of Epiphanies. With album singles like “GONE, GONE, GONE” and “BECOME NUMB” already setting the precedent for what will soon be an explosive body of work, 2026 will surely continue to be a breakthrough year for the band.
