The Running Minds unveils debut single “What It’s Like With You”

Date:

Indie pop-rock band The Running Minds from the North East has released their debut single “What It’s Like With You,” which features catchy melodies and spicy guitars. The moment the drum beat hits your years, a mixture of nuance and excitement wades you.

The band consists of Patrick Jordan, Chris Saunders, and Jay Moussa-Mann. Jordan created that first drum beat using a Yamaha PSS-140.

“I heard the melody while at the beach,” Jordan remembers. “That evening we got together and started recording.”

Jordan and Saunders created the song at Jordan’s studio after Moussa-Mann first joined the band before developing the remainder of the song on WhatsApp. The song revolves around the point of view of someone who devastated Moussa-Mann’s life, releasing vulnerability. All three members previously came from a background in music, albeit, as a solo artist or from bands/duos.

The song is powerfully raw and sad and is a perfect exploration into The Running Minds’ distinctive sound, making “What It’s Like With You” an existential, introspective track that leaves you questioning your reality long after the notes fade.
