Sydney Spraker showcases her genuinity in new song “Leave It to Me”

Date:

D.C. area singer-songwriter Sydney Spraker has proven that it is never too late to pursue what you’re passionate about. Taking inspiration from artists such as Paramore, Hayley Williams, From Indian Lakes, and Orla Gartland, she has worked with producer Jonathan Sambrick of Thornwall Studios to craft her unique sound. Her latest release, “Leave It to Me” is a self-reflection on habits and their consequences.

“Leave It to Me” shares moments where Sydney Spraker has embarrassed herself or others because of her willingness to be open. While her willingness to be genuine has created strong bonds with others, she also faces some backlash because of her curiosity. She describes herself as a “professional instigator” or a “tornado in the dark” for her ability to sometimes wreak havoc, which is shown through powerful guitar and punchy synth.
