Nina Leo releases “Blind Spot” as her first single of 2024. A mixture of grunge and alt rock, the track uses blended overlapping vocals and distorted guitars to create a dense atmosphere of confusion and seclusion. This feeling of otherworldliness and alienation extends into the lyrics as well as the sound. “Blind Spot” tells the story of someone struggling in destructive social patterns and desperate to change.
According to Director Anthony Bowler, the accompanying music video for “Blind Spot” draws inspiration from clips of grunge shows and music videos of the 2000s.
Nina Leo will play “Blind Spot” live at The Retreat this August.
