Manchester’s fast-rising indie group Florentenes return with “Think Twice,” a sharp-edged indie rock anthem that reinforces their status as one of the city’s most exciting new bands. Recorded with legendary producer Dave Eringa (Manic Street Preachers, Jamie Webster, The Who), the track bursts with jagged riffs, racing drums and an instantly addictive hook. Just a year out of school, the band are already helping to shape a new era of northern guitar music.

“Think Twice” feels like a defining release for the band, pairing emotional honesty with their distinctive soundscapes. Frontman William Train Smith explains:

“Think Twice is a story about the emotional end of a relationship, told from different sides – one cynical, one hopeful. It’s about the pain, learning to let go, heal and find yourself again.”

The band have continued building a loyal fanbase through their PUNCHBAG UNI Tour, a ground-breaking 15-date run in partnership with Live Nation and FAE Group, designed to reinvigorate live music on campuses across the UK alongside emerging bands Villanelle and Die Twice. The tour took place across late September and October this year.
