Niall Horan slows things down on “Little More Time”

Niall Horan returns with “Little More Time,” and it’s a reminder of why his solo stuff works so well.

Leaning into his signature sound, the single sits somewhere between soft pop and that slightly folk-tinged, easy-listening space he’s made his own.

It centres on that feeling of wanting to pause time, holding onto the smaller, everyday moments instead of rushing past them. Horan described it as wanting “the world to stop” while still being able to live inside it, which pretty much sums up the single.

There’s something about the way he stretches out the melodies that makes everything feel a bit slower, a bit softer, with a chorus that is earworm-y too.

“Little More Time” is taken from his upcoming fourth album Dinner Party, set for release June 5. Catch him on tour supporting the album throughout the UK and Europe this fall. Tickets are available here.
