Ginger Winn’s latest single “Averna” is a smooth and optimistic-sounding acoustic rumination on infatuation that goes down just as smoothly as a glass of the song’s namesake.
Winn opens the song with the sweet flutter of guitar strums as she sets the scene for her story. She describes having a “scrunched up nose” and references “dusty records” and “barley and bobbins”.
