BABYMETAL releases live music video for “from me to u” featuring Poppy

Date:

Japanese metal trio BABYMETAL has released a new performance video of their standout song “from me to u” at their penultimate concert of 2025 in London at The O2 Arena, with a surprise arrival with Poppy, who is featured on the song. The final performance is set to be Nov. 1st at the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles, CA.

Their fifth studio album, METAL FORTH, received roaring praise from the media after its release in August of this year. This album marks the first official album since the addition of their newest member Momoko Okazaki, formally known as “Momo-metal,” alongside vocalists Su-metal (Suzuka Nakamoto) and Moa-metal (Moa Kikuchi.)

METAL FORTH is a limitless and extravagant album that reconstructs the future of the genre and is a leap into the unknown potentials of the girl group. The album is filled with a variety of intense and explosive tracks with collaborations from Poppy, Courtney LaPlante of Spiritbox, Bloodywood, Electric Callboy, Slaughter to Prevail, Polyphia, and Tom Morello.

The album has amassed well over 200 million global streams and sold 36,000 album units within its first week of release. These are well-deserved achievements alongside the group debuting at #9 on the Billboard 200, marking two impactful milestones: the first time in history that an all-Japanese group made the list, and the group achieving their first ever U.S. Top 10 album.
