Last Thursday Bastille’s intimate Club Nights tour hit the coastal town of Llandudno and it certainly didn’t disappoint. Fans queued from early in the morning to see their favourite band perform the entirety of their recent album, Doom Days, followed swiftly by another set under the name of Chaos Planet jam packed with hits such as Pompeii and their 2018 Marshmello collaboration; Happier. The Christmas spirit of the streets was even brought inside to the show at Venue Cymru as Bastille performed their recent release, Can’t Fight This Feeling, recorded as the soundtrack to the infamous 2019 John Lewis Christmas advert. Throughout the night Bastille demonstrated a great deal of care for their fans; from performing in different positions of the venue so everyone could experience a great view during the show, to even stopping a song after noticing a commotion in the crowd to ensure everyone was okay. The love a band has for their community never goes unnoticed.
